High in the Andean mountains, the llama was the most important domestic animal of the Inca Empire.
They provided food, and clothing with their wool, and to this day they have an important role in the Inti Raymi festival, the feast of the sun, held in honor of this divinity.
This piece is inlaid with a spondylus shell known as red gold of the Incas, and small lively touches of turquoise stone.
These earrings pay homage to this sacred animal and its unique beauty and spirit of freedom.
